Scott Kennedy

Scott completed his Private pilot training in Cleveland, Ohio in high school and continued into the Professional Pilot Program at Ohio University. Upon graduation from OU, Scott interned in the aviation department of a large insurance brokerage in Manhattan. Afterward, he returned to regular flying as a flight instructor at Sporty’s. Ultimately, Scott decided to focus on the business segment of the aviation industry, and upon learning of the leading insurance firm in the region, he expressed an interest and joined Parrish-O’Neill in 1998.
Scott completed postgraduate studies while working for the firm. He is a Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor with over 1,300 hours and remains active in the firm’s A36 Bonanza as well as flight instructing. Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation and Meteorology, and a Master’s degree in Business from Ohio University. -

Kory began his aviation journey in Nashville, Tennessee where he started flight training while playing Division 1 baseball at Belmont University. Upon completing his baseball career, Kory continued flying recreationally while attending graduate school at the University of Pittsburgh. After initially starting a career abroad in the International Development field, Kory returned to the United States and completed his Commercial pilot’s license while also beginning his insurance career.
He is an active pilot, flying several models of multi engine aircraft including the Beechcraft Baron and King Air. Kory holds a bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in Business from Belmont University, along with a Master’s degree in International Development and an Advanced Certificate of African Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
